SEE Mobility 2025 is cancelled!
Companies from five EU countries and some of the associations of the European railway industry canceled their participation in the fifth international/regional fair South East Europe Mobility 2025, as a result of which the organizer of the fair, Railway Cluster for Southeast Europe, was forced to decide to cancel the fair scheduled for April 24 and 25 in Belgrade.
Companies and associations from EU countries that were supposed to appear at the fair as exhibitors, visitors and speakers at the main fair conference stated that there is currently a significant risk for the safety of their representatives in Serbia due to:
– Deportation of persons from EU countries participating in international conferences by the state authorities of the Republic of Serbia
– Public targeting of directors of reputable European companies in Serbia
– Warnings from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the embassies of the countries from which they come, that the highest political representatives of the Republic of Serbia have been accusing the “Western Countries”, Europe and the EU member states of carrying out a “colour revolution” in Serbia and labeling persons from abroad as enemies, which may endanger the safety of business people coming to Serbia.
We apologize to all exhibitors and visitors for the sudden cancellation of the fair, but under the given circumstances, as organizers, we believe that it is necessary to hold the fair in a normal atmosphere.
As soon as the situation in Serbia stabilizes, we will set a new date for the fair (probably November 2025 or March/April 2026).
The Railway Cluster for Southeast Europe has been building trust among Southeast Europe companies for ten years, currently gathers companies and associations from 11 countries of the region and Europe and is internationally recognized at the European level as a member of the European Railway Cluster Initiative (the leading organization of European railway clusters). SEE Mobility is therefore the most important biennial event of the regional railway industry, which is based on the initiative of Cluster member companies.
